Morocco bound...

I'm so excited to finally be traveling to Morocco!! I'll be exploring Marrakesh, the high Atlas Mountains and a 2 day Bedouin desert safari, in the Sahara, with my partner in crime(a.k.a husband).

I'll also be taking over instagram for Wonderful Machine September 23-25th:) Come follow along my travels through the desert lands:  @_nfranco & @wondefulmachine.

Hope y'all enjoy the pics!

New project...

Getting ready to head back to the States for 2 weeks. When I return, I'm super excited to start a new portrait series about Charros. Can't wait hang with some cowboys and their beloved horses!

Granja La Serpentina...

A little while back, my friend, Sarah, told me about a quaint little goat farm off the side of the highway, somewhere between San Miguel De Allende and Mexico City. She said, "the goats are from France, the cheese is delicious and the owner looks like Santa Claus." My response was.... when can we go?:) A few days later, we were on our way. The farm was sweet, the owners and staff super gracious, bought a bunch of cheese, lost one CF card and LOVED the goats!

From my father's hands, all things are given.

In honor of Father's Day, just wanted to share this older post:)

I went home last week to Los Angeles and spent some time photographing my dad. His hands have always held a distinction of reverence. They tell the story of my family's life from which his hands built and continue to shape. From my father's hands, all things are given.

L.A. fun...

Back from L.A.(again) and had an amazing time photographing my friend Gyasi Parker Ross for his second album. Love his soulful voice, so super talented and really excited for his Kickstarter funded album to release.

I happend to also be in town during MOPLA and was able to catch the Instagram Jam exhibition. My sis was one of the selected artists:)

It was a quick trip and grateful for it. Hope to be back soon but first, off to NYC....
